( They fq) This is to draw men from Chrifl to themfelves,:- and from the Gofpel to the Law to lay their Comforts, and build their Peace upon any thing in themfclves,- is to fort Chria and make themielves their own Saviours: and thole Tuchers that perfwade them to this, are Te.achers of the Law, and falle Prophets, who draw men from Chrill to thernfelves. All our own Righteoufnefs is as a merOruous cloth,and our bell works are fin,and therefore we may rot take up our Affurance or Comforts from them. We fhall be always at un- certainties, and at a lofs,or unconaant,up and down in cur Comfortg, as -long as we take them from any figns in our felves.
