The fame we may fay ofthe experiences of Gods people $ill ; And doubtlefs it were well if experimental Chriftians did more fully and frequently open to one another their experiences. It were the way to make private particular Mercies to be more publike and common Mercies ; and to give others a part in our bleíngs without any diminutionof them to our felves. Not that I would have this fo openly and rashly done, (by thole who through their difability to exprefs their minds, do make the works and language of Spirit feem ridiculous tocarnal-ears ) as I perceive fome in a very formalitywould have it ( as ifit muft be one of their Church- cuftoms, to fatisfie the focie- ty of the fituefs of each member before they will receive them : ) But I would have Chriftians that are fit toexprefs their minds, to do it in feafon, and with wifdom Efpecially thofe to whom God bath given any more eminent and notable experiments, which may be of publike ufe.
