But, to the cafe before us, there is no pa- rallel, that is, to the difference between the judgment of God and the judgment of men. He is the fupreme Governor of the world, poffeffed of univerfal dominion, he Beaks and it is done, he commands and it jlands fa/l ; he does in heaven and in earth whatfoever pleajèth him ; he has power to call the ob- jets of his difpleafure, foul and body, into hell; and to make his favourites happy be- yond our imagination and to all eternity; for eye hath not fen, nor ear heard, nor have en- tered into the hearts of men, the good things he hath prepared,¡ ór them. Is it not then a very little thing to be judged of men ? Should it not be fo in the eftima- tion of every man, as it was in St. Paul's, fee - ing he that judgeth us is the Lord?
