It is likely, that all wine was forbidden the Priefts when they went to ferve: yet the Hebrewes have their liniitations; as that they might not drinke above the fourth part (of a Log, or of an halfe pint) f wine, and that mere wine, and at one time , and of wine that was fiutrtie dyes old at the leali. But if be drink leg then a fourth part (of a Log) of wine or drink a fourth part with pen fe of time betweene , or if it bee mixed with water,or if her drink-wine from the preffe within foisrtie days, though more then afourth part : he i1 difharged,and pro - faneth not his fesure.
