That be might be the head ofhis Church, I meane not headin a large fenfe, for one who is in any kind before another; for ~ fo Chrift ii the head of Angels , and God is the head ofChrift ; and to this we have fpoken before. But in a ftriet fenfe for one that is in a neare and communicative fort conjoyned with another, as the head is conjoyned with the boely and members-; and fo is Chrift the head of his Church.
