No 'cis becaufe of thefe things the wrath of God cometh upon the chit drin of difobedience, Eph. 5. 6. 6ecfaufe of thefe things, i, e. becaufe of thefe tins as appears from the Verfes foregoing, W Cat hit that bath filled every age and place of the world with fo many dreadful! to- kens of Gods difpleafure , but onely fin ? In a word, look over all thofe miferies under which the whple Creation groans, R m. 8. z2. And though thofe miferies in Lycra! creatures are divers , yet do they all proceed from the fame fountain, viz. Sin. 2. Chrift is All in making expiation for fin. And fach is the fulncfs of Chrifts fttisfadion, that he hath not onely freed fuch as are united unto him from condemnation, Rom. 8. i. but purchafed for them the Adoption of children, Rom. 8. 14, i 5, 16. And thus Chri(t is All in removing this bar, and opening this door co falvation which ( had it not been for his me- diation) would for ever have remained ¡but aglinft all the children of men. The pollution and prevalency of corruption, how great an impediment this is to falvation, and happinefs was typified by the Lepers and unclean perlons of old who were not admitted within the Camp. Heaven is no common receptacle for all perfons, Lev. 13.46 as Noabs Ark was for all forts of creatures , Know ye not that the unrighteous Jhall not inherit the Kingdom of God, i Cor. 6. 9. In the Church of God on earth there is a mixture of Corn with Chaff, of Wheat with Tares, of good frith with bad , of Sheep
