And whatfoever is theObjea of his Will, is the ObjeEt of his Power ; for to will and to doare the fame thing in him. 'Tis true, the knowledge of things by experimental Senfe, is a clearer per- ception than the perfwafion of them by Faith. The firft is to fee the original, the other is to fee the copy, that ufually falls fhort of it. 'Tis thereforePaid, We now fee in a glafdarkly : But the Divine Teftimony in it felf has the molt con- vincing evidence, above the affurance we can have by the report of our Senfes, which often deceive us, through the in- difpofition of the Faculty, or the unfit; nefs of the medium or diftance of the Objects, or the knowledge of things by difcurfive Ratiocination. The objeafive certainty of Faith is infallible, We know with the highelt aff.urance, that God can no more lye, than he can dye.
