But the principal and divine caufe.of Love, is the Law of Chrif}, that en- joyns us to do good to all, but efpecially to the houfhold of Faith ; for the fpiri= tuai Relation is more intimate and excel- lent than the natural : That we are the offfpring of the fame Heavenly Father, united as Members to the fame glorious Head, renewed to a Divine Life by the fame Holy Spirit, incorporáted into the fame Spiritual Family. This Affeion proceeds from the upper fprings of Grace; the exercife of it is immediate- ly terminated on Men , but ultimately refpeas the Glory of God ; for whole fake 'tis performed. To do good, and di- ftribute, forget not ; for with flab Sacri- fice God is wellpleated.
