We are commanded to grow in Grace, 'tis direa matter of Duty, we are obliged to be holy, as God is holy, in all manner cf Converfation : the Rule is inflexible, and none can by difpenfation or priviledge be exempted from ferious and contlant endeavours to be intirely like God. Thofe who are pleas'd with the pretence, that perfe& Holinefs is un- attainable here, and indulge their imper- feetions, are in the flate of unrenewed Nature. They are fure they fhall be bad always, and therefore will not labour ro be better.
