That Faith, Repentance and Works are the conditions of Salvation. 5 , That the reafon why faith and other duties are means ofSal- vation, is becaufe God hash freely appointed them to be the conditions and means thereof, and fo not formally vel proxime from the receptivenature, or inftrumentalityof faith. 6. That it is as a condition ofContraa or Covenant that Faith and Re- pentance are means ofSalvation, and therefore it is of right to Salvation that they are conditions, feeing it is right which the Covenant gives. 7. And though he fay that Jullification is only by faith without works, yet he fpeaks plainly of our being put into a juilified State : and fo I fay fo as much as he. But ifright to Salvation be on condition of obedience, then doubtlefs cation at Judgement will pats on that condition. To be Jultified, will be to have our right to Impunity and Salvation clearedand determined. 8. That we mutt needs feek Salvation by good works. 9. That the blood of Chrift and the works of man are by him both made conditions of Salvation, That Salvation is the Reward both offaith and good works.
