Let no Minifter be forced to deliver the Sacrament of Chrlft's Body and Blood, to any who is unbaptized ; or who being baptized in Infancy, did never yetperfonally to the Church, or Miniger, 'own his Baptifmal Covenant by an underltanding Profeffonof the Chrifian Faith, and promife of Obedienceto God the Father, Son, and Holy-Gho!t and who alto will not yet make filch apro- feflìon andpromife to the Church, or Minifter, or elfe bring a valid Certificate that he hath formerly done it to the Bithop, or fume approved Paftor, under whoni he lived : Nor to any, who,:upon accufation, fame, or jut fufpicion of Atheifm, Infidelity, Herefie, intolerable Ignorance, or profs, and heinous Sin, doth refit to come fpeak with the Minifter for his fatisfaftion, and ñis Jufification, or better Information ; or who by Proof, or Confeflion is found guilty ofanyof the aforfaid fcandalous Evils, until he have profeffed ferions Repentance to the Paid Minter, if the crimebenotorious; and if herefufe, till be have moreover amendedhis former wicked Life. 8. Let no Minilter be forced to publilh an Excommunication, or Abfoluti- on of any againi his Confcience, upon the decree or Sentence of a Lay- Chancellour or any other: But let them, that delire it, mute fach to do it whofe Conticience is not againlb it. 9. When thereare Prefentments or Appeals to the Chancellour's Court, or Bilhop's, let not fickly, weakMinigers, or thofe whofe Parifhes cannot be fo long neglefted, be put to travel long Journeys, or neglea their Studies, and Minilterial Work, by oft or long Attendances, in bringing Witnelles againft Chofe to whom they only refufed on the forefäid Renton to deliver the Sacra- ment. ro. Seeing Minutero who live among them, are fuppofed to be belt acquainted with the Penitence, or impenitence of their People, let it be left to their Prudence, whom they will ;vbfolvein Sicknefs, and privately give the Sacrament to, and let the Sick chufe filch Confeffors, as they think belt for themfelves:.
