Owning and believing in devils, or Lying fpirits in head of the Holy ¡hoft as the Montanitls, Mahometans, Ranters, Famalifts do. 9, Owning and adjoyningdevils or Lying fpirits in co-ordination or equality with the ioly hoff, and believing equally his doctrine and theirs as if he werenot foie and fufficient in his Work. All.thefe are fins directly againft God himfelf, and if preva- lent, molt certainly damning; three againfl the Fa- ther,three againfi theSon,and three againft the Holy Ghoft. But . thefe, be not they that I need now to warn you of. Thefe are prevalent only in Pagans, Infidels, and Blafphemers. Your troubles and CUM- plaints fhew that thefe are not prodominant in you. It is therefore the three forementioned fins of the Heart or Will that I would have you carefully to look after in your troubles, to fee whether none of them get groundand flrength inyou. z.
