Why he ufeth this fame Diftindion between Humiliation for fin, and Doubtingof finceriry and falvation,and he helps them to the former,andhelps them againft the later ; Couldye not Watch With meone hour ? faith be. There heconvinceth them ofthe fin,that they may be hum- bled for it. The fJiirit indeed is Milling, but the flefh ss weak, faith he. There he utterly refiílcth their Doubtings,or preventeth them;fhewing themwhere- in fincere Grace confifteth, even in the Spirits wily lingrefs; and telling them that they had that Grace ; and then telling them whence came their fin, even from the weaknefs of the flefb. 2.
