This is it which weare Paid to heare and learne from the father : fhouldnot the father fpeake and teach, we couldnot heare ; neither is it anoutward voyce, for all thatheare this voyce come to Chrif, which is not verified in the other : And thisis thatlight,whichdiffufing it felfe through theword we heare, doth make the things ofGod vifible to thefoule: Even asnot theayre alone, but the ayre now inlightned, is the meanby which things are madedifcernableto the bodily eye.
