And iftherein hee might have but the happineffe to heare a Sermon : Oh with what affe6io- nate inflamedattention would hee lien unto theWord of Life ! how would his heart breake and bleed within him, and fall afunder in his brefi , like drops of water, to heare Gods juft wrath and holy indignation thundred out and threatued againft finne ! In a word, he would thinke that in demonflration of thankefullnefle for Gods favour, might bee bee fo happy as to have it, the fpending ofevery moment ofall that great body oftime, which lies betweene the Creation and the worlds end, ifhee might live fo long,in asholy, pure, firm, precife, heavenly manner, as ever did the neoff mortified Martyr upon earth, were farre to little. Shall wee then triflinglypalle andplay away the time that is foprecious ?
