Now Ab111aham was a type of Chrifi; ahd the f~tther of the faithful., who are all tbleffed as .he was. Therefore this promife was primarily to Chrifi; thro' the rightconfnefs by him wrought; fecondarity to his members,thrOLigh the fa1:r1e righteoufnefs apprehended by f.:tith. This promife of temporal benefits, carries believers poffeffion ofthe fame, as £'lr as th.eir need in that kind do'th go, Philip.iv. 19.
