Some there are, that doubt of their falvation, becaufe they are afraid their duties ihall not be accepted, prayers fhall not be accepted : Oh if I could but be perfwaded (iaies one) that the Lord wouldhear my prayer, and ac- cept of my duty, then I fhould know indeed I fhould-be faved : but I amafraid the Lorddoth not hear my prayers, and accept ofmyduties; and therefore I fear I !hall not be laved.
