We being in him as in the Root, and he being in us as in his Seed, his Works areNaturallized to us. It's Na- tural to See, and to Hear, and to Speak ; it's natural for a man to Sin. Sometimes ye have a Wicked manhating of a Godly, Gracious man, and he can give you no reafon for it; it cannot tell why (faith he) but my heart is against him. But Ile tell ye why, and what the reafon is : The !Old Man is in him, the Old Adaw is in him, and the work ofAdam is Naturallized to a Wicked man, and he can give youno reafon, (many times) why be does fo, becaufe the Work is Naturallized to him. The reafon is this, becaufe that Chrift the Second Adam is within, and f_ o his Work, and Things are natural- lized unto the foul ; and in form=afore, is it not fo with you? 3. Thirdly, Whoever you are that make this ObjeCtion Did ye ever find, perceive, or think, that Chrift is in you ? It may he now ye are under Ionic prefent Fear, Doubting : but were y'u never perfwaded of this In-being ? did ye never think, or were ye never perfwaded that Chrift was in you ?
