WE havealreadyconfidered the Corinrhians,according to what they were by their own voluntary corruption, Let tee now take noaicef them , ae what they are by grace. They were black and uncordely of themfelves, but Can&ífied and made beautifullby the grace of God. Now this grace of God vouchfafed unto them is expreffed in threeparticulars, Ye areWafhed, Ye are San- efifred, Ye are?reified. Nowalthough it be feriouflydifpueed,whether Juflification or San&i- fication goe before oneanother; and generally it is afierted, that inpriority of na. cure a man is juáified before he be fanitified, though theybe both together in time; yet withal) they acknowledge, that according to our fence and feeling, and the Methodwe mutt take for comfort, we apprehend ourSaneeification before out Jullification ; and no manmay perfwadehimfelf, that he is jultified, whodochnot difcover in himfelf the fruitsof Sanehfication.
