NowBrethren, TheArt of Divinity to guide to eternal Life, is the moll Noble of any Art.; : and for any Creature to fail and come, fliort of this Art, is the greatefl; fhame that can be. Though men beafhamed of any thing ere, take a Painter, orany Workman ora Husband man, if he come fhort of the Rule, he is a- fhamed, but if men fail of the Ruleof eternal Life, they arenot afhamed then.
