Hence carnal men account the waiesof God foolifhnefs, and preaching of the Word foolifhnefs, and the ufual title that they give to thole that walk more aria than others, is this, What fools they are nothing but acompany of tools-that keep fuck a ftir : And it is an ordinary thing in the world for carnal hearts to calf folly upon the waies ofGod; and for their ('elves, they can fit at homeand applaud themfelves in their Wif- dom, as if theygo in a neerer way than others; and why fhould they be fuci fools as others ?
