Here we fee ixí this Beatitude a Sweet conjunaion between the two verfes, Blefjèd are thole that hunger and thirfi after righteoufnef e, for they flall be fatisfled : And Bided are the mercifull : You would have mercy, faith Chrift, and that is a fweet argument to you, and you would have a there in mercy, but do ,you delre righteoufneffe as well, youwould have righ- teoufnetfe, you would have a flare in the righteoufneffe of Jefus Chrifl, and you would have the mercy of God, to pardon your fins, but are you mercifull ? there is nothing fills the foul with more mercy then the confiderationpf this, that we have our fins pardoned in the righteoufneffe of Jefus Chrift, this is that that fills the foule with bowels of mercy.
