33 ,6 Mbn before they are amar may make, others fufPer for r ghteog f efs' but would have all kind of things, to be fuifered ; But now the Lord judge in this cafe, in this wrong unto fuch men, thatbe- caufe they onely plead for no further fi,tfering a Toleration but in this cafe where men can no way, either by the horrible - nefk in the fac , in their opinions, or by the turbulency and pride, and infolency of their carriage be convinc't to erre .through wantonneflè and flubbornnelfe; there: they fay that there thould be a forbearance ; tut now to think that all kind of things fhould be tolerated, all kind of blafphemy tolerated ; this is a moil infinite wrong, and whofoever bath been guilty of this, to charge it upon them, Purely there is much guilt up. on fuch for this, and if God gives them not hearts to repent of ít, it will be requir'd of them another day. - But now this is all that is pleaded for, That all thole men, that agree with us both in doZtrine and woríhip that is fundametítall,and all thofe that carry themlelves in a peaceable humble and meek way, that thefe lhould have forbearance from their Brethren; now what peace will this hinder among us ? why may not, we live and injoy one another, and never have fuch termes one againll another, either that one would have all things futfered, or that -others are perfecutors becaufe they will not fuffer all things ? -- Thus you fee that a man may fuffer in matters of Religion, .and may fuffer jufily and righteoufly. But now this is to be limited according to the Cautions that .I fpake too before.
