Secondly, When he withes that God would not regard his day, he defires God to lay afide or fufpend his continual work. Obferve then, That GodBoth obfrve and take aparticular notice ofevery day. As all perfons (hall be accountable tohim for their anions, fo alfo for their time : God will enquire after every inch oftime, after every moment ofour lives. Many men regard not a day, they value not their precious time , they know not how to fpend or be rid ofit, how to wear it out and pafs it away:But God obferves and regardsevery moment.The Apottle calls to redeeming oftime, Eph.5.a6. and he fubjoyns a motive, becaufe the dayes are evil. We may give in this oflob for a motive; God regards time, therefore let us redeem time. If a day be within Gods regaryling, furely it may command ours. Thirdly, Let not God regard it : Wemay obferve, That the bleffing and comfort of everyday depends upon the care and refpefl of God to it. The eyes ofall things look, up untoGod. Why do all things look up unto God ? It is that God may look down upon them: If God look down.upón the creature, then the creature revives and is refreshed; there are influences from the eye and fight of God, whichare able to quicken the deadeft times',and make glad the faddeft hearts : As we pray for,and humbly expert' every day , our dayly bread from.
