The breaking of the heart, the rayfingof itby faith,the,renew- ing ofits peace and comfort,are wonderful! works of God. And the reafon why we wonder nomore at them, is, besaufe we con fader fo little of them. Hence againe from, the word, .Lo; Note. Theworkes ofGod are to be deeply confidered, to be,flayedupon. We muff not paffe them by lightly, whether they be towards our felves or others, God loath made his wonderful! workes to be re- mémbred ( faith David, Pfal: a t t. 4. ) or to be confdered, that's the defigne ofGod in his works, he bath made them for that end, that they Ihould be remembred, and attended to,or they are fuch ascannot but be remembred; they leave their markes andmemo- rialls behind them.
