Then Plat anfwered and fad : there was no queftion, no difcourfe antecedent, yet it is called anan- vv.-2r. The like is obfervable in the 17th of Mathew, v.4. and Jehn x8. Secondly , We may refolve the doubt thus though lob laid . nothing now to which E'Iihu made anfwer; yet he had faid Much which was yet unanfwered, altogether unanfwered by Elihu ; therefore Elthn might fay, that he proceeded to anfwer the ma- ny matters of3o6r former fpeech, towhich as yet he had given no anfwer.
