The wordwhich we render underftanding , is not a none, but the infinitive of averbe in the Hebrew: and it may be rendred rtn con oc- thus ; If thou' haft tounder£and ; that is,,i.f thou haft an ability to cento ínpemd understand, which in fenfe is the fame with our tranflation,If aria non potefl thou haft under£anding.
