Firft, Some read them as implying God's making others to know their works, God maketh the fecret fins of men vifible, byPropterea faea his vifible judgements. Thus here,he makes them to knowor to acknowledge what their works have been. Thirdly, Rather rake it, aswe render, of Gods a& in takingTy/ nonfg notice of all they had done ; Therefore he knoweth their works aieat.notion As if Elihuhad faid,thefe mightymen oftheearth,thought them-facto quod fci- felves under covert, or that the Lord took no notice of them, nor an,fed tantum of their works, their works were done in thedark, and they fup'co n f o, i eo pofed the Lord could not pierce into them ; but he will make it nafcit.
