Several( learned Interpreters give that read- ing, taking the relative Him as a fingular put for a plural( diari- butively, upon him, that is, upon every one of them; taking alto rnducendofupee the cry of the pare by a metonymie of the etfed2, for that punifh- cla`morém au- ment which they deferved by their oppreifion, who caufed thee, ,quum clamo- poote to cry.
