Firfi , Vapours are railed and condenled into Clouds by the counfel of God, he caufeth the vapours to afcend from the ends of the earth, .( Pfal.. 1 3 5.7.) Which vapours (as was (hewed before ) are the material caufeor matter of the Clouds, Secondly, Asby the eounfel of God the vapours are railed, of which Clouds are made ; fo this Text tells us,that by his coun- fel the Cloudsare moved, andordet'd in their motion ; which motion of the Clouds is very various ; fomtimes one way, fom- times another,fomtitnes forward, fomtirnes backward, or retro- grade ; fpmtirnes their motion iscircular , as the word hereúfed by Elihu feerneth to imply, It is turned or whirled about ; accord- ingto that of Solomon( Eccl: i. 6. ) The wind goeth toward the South, and turneth about unto the North; it whirleth about conti- nually, and the windreturneth again according to his Circuit. We have here three words expreffing the motion of the wind;Fir, it goeth ; Secondly, whirleth about ; Thirdly, returnethagain ;; and all this according to its circuits. It is laid of Samuel (I Sam. 7. a 6. ) He went fromyear to year in circuit,to Bethel and Gil ai,antl uffizpet,and judged Ifraelin alt th'feplaces. Thus the winds ac- cording to the Commiifion they receive fret-n God, ride every year in circuit, now thyare in on quarter,. 'and anon in another, . and wherefoever they corne they may be laid to do judgment in a way of favour toCome, and in a way of difplefure unto others. The wind hath his Circuits , and as the Cil cuit of the wind is, fuch is the Circuit of the Clouds the motionof the Cloud; is from the wind, force fay from the Starts, but moi generally, as to the nattual caufe , it is from the wind, which way the wind moves, that way the Clouds move.
