And who can hand in any of theft accounts, either for not doing good, or for doing evil, without a Mediatour, upon whole account alonewe are ac- cepted. Who is this that darkeneth counfel by words without k ow- ledge ? Secondly, Taking theft words as an humbling rebuke upon yob for hisover- boldnefs,in (peaking of God and his wayes; Note ;. As if he had Paid, '.hat a fool art thou, what an ignorant creature art thou ; the Lord fpake there to his own people, and to them altogether, as if theywere but one man ) Who art thon that thou fhouldeft be afraid of a man that [hall dye, and of the fon of man that fhallbe made w grafs, and forgetteft the Lord thy Maker ? What a kind of crea- ture art thou, to fet fomuch by a man ( let him be who he w ill ) that thou fhouldefl be unduely afraid of him, who by nature is like thy felt, frail and mortal, as if thou hadfl not the immortal God thy Maker for thy helper and defender l They a& below men, who over-fear men,while they are in a way of duty to God. Secondly, The Scripture ufeth fuch queftions when man is o- ver-bold with, of not enough in the fear of God ( which is the cafe here in the Text) If any man intrench upon the prerogative of God, he is liketo hear of it, with a who art thon ?
