Some creatures are made for play, for fport, others for work and fervice; yet here is one (and there are mor cot that temper) fo fierce, fo (+our, that he will be brought to neither; he will not ferve you, as 'cis Paid in the former verfe;be will not play with you,nor dare you play withhim.in this latter verfe,Leviathan is fomewhat like that untoward and froward, generation, of whom Chrili fpake (flat. r t .16.) To whompall!liken this generation ? theyare like to childrenfitting in the market-place, and calling unto their fellow faying,wehave piped untoyou, &ye havenot danced; we have mourned untoyou, andye have not lamented. So we may fay of this Leviathan, if you mourn to him, he will not lament; if you pipe tohim, he will not dance.
