All that the Lorddoth to, or in the creature, is to get himfelf a name,and a glory;there fore let usgive God the glory of his power, wifdom and good- nefs in all his works. It was the Payingof one of the Ancients, A Paganmay deny that there is a Chrift, but a Pagan cannot deny AlmightyGod. A Paganmaydeny Chrill, for that's meerly mat- ter of faith;but fence will lead aPagan to believe there is a God, or force omnipotent power that hathwrought all thefe things. If we fee a dream, that affures us there is aSpring or Fountain ; if we fee a goodly Palace built, that affures us it had a builder, a maker. And if the (Item) be full, what is the fountain ? If the Palace built begreat and magnificent, how great, howmagnifi- cent was the builder ! Every houfe (as the Author to the Hebrews faid upon another occafion, Chap. 3. 4.) is builded by fame man, but be thatbuilt all things is God. Fourthly, Seeing the Lord is pleafed to read fuch a natural PhylofophyLetureupon this creature, we may take thisobfer- vation from it. God
