In this verle wehave the divine Judgement given inYobs cafe, and in it there are four things confiderable. Firfl, The timeor feafon of it, thus exprefi ; And it wasfo, that after the Lord had fpok en thefe words anteYob. Secondly, The manner of it ; The Lord Paid, he declared his mind. Thirdly, The fpecial perfon with whom the Lord dealt, and whom be chofe our to declare his mind refpeóively to the other two ; Eliphaz, the Temanite. Fourthly, The decree or judgement it felt, in which we may confider two things. FirÍi, The matter of it ; My wrath (faith the Lord) is kindled etgainfi thee, and thy two friends; I am not pleafed with any of you, yea, I am highly difpleafed, My wrath is kindled. Secondly, The ground of it, plainly exprefi in theft words; For ye bave notfpokenof me the thing that is right, a¡ my fervent Job bath. As if the Lord had Paid, if you would know the rea- fon why I am fo angry, 'cis this;re have not fpoken of me the thing that is right, as myfervent Job bath. Thus we have the flee of thefe threevertes,, and the partsof this feventh, wherein God appeareth as a determiner of this long difputed controverfie, between Yoband his three friends. And it was fo, that after the Lord had fpoken theft words orn #o Yob. Here is the time when the Lord gave this judgement, that's the ftrft thing to be conlîdered in this verle ; and it may beque- flioned,whether the Lord gave this Judgement immediately after he had concluded his fpeech with Yob,and Yob hadmade his con- feflion CO the Lord ? or whether there were Tome fpaceof time between ? The word after may be either prefentlyafter, or agood while after ; here is no exprefs limitation of the time, it being; only laid, After theLord had fpoken thefe words unto job. Some
