THis verse begins the third part of the Chapter. We have feen fob humbled before God in the firfi part ; we have teen fobs friends reconciled to God, and hiss anger turnedaway from them in the fecond : In this third, we have, lob himfelf re- honed, or the refiitution of fobto as good, yea, to abetter elate than be had before; and this was dont when he prayed for bis friends : The Crown isfee upon the bead ofprayer. The reflitution of fob is set down two wayes. Firfi, more generally, in this verse, where it is dcfcribed three wayes. Firfi,by the Author of it,TbeLord ; it was he that turnedthe Captivity offob. Secondly, by the feafon of it ; whenhe prayed for bisfriends. Thirdly, by the degree and meafure of it ; Alfo the Lordgave 7o6 twice as much as behad before.
