Now if God, who is infinite in knowledgeand wifdom,reprcfents hirnfelf "coming down, and by degreesdeliberating about and weighing the citates of men, before he cenfures them,what need then have blindfold men, ignorant men, men, who at belt have much dark- nefs mixedwith their light, what need (I fay) have they to ex- -amine, weigh and try every mans elate, before they fentence or determine it ? Fourthly obferve A' man who bath not been,or is net afflifled himfelf, can hardly apprehend, what another endures, who is under affliction.
