'Tis profitable to write the fame things-, therefore it cannot be unprofitable to hear them (Pbil.3.1.) Brethren, to write the fame things, to me, is not grievous , and to you it it profitable : If to write, then to (peak the fame things is profitable. In the Story of the Acts of the Apofiles, when Paul had preached in the Synagogue ; the Jews being gone, the Gentiles befought him, That chofe words might be prea- ched,the next Sabbath (Alls 1342.) The repeating and in- culcating the fame thing, is not always blameable, and it is fometimes defrreable :. but when a-man is under fore affli Li- ons and temptations, when he is burthened with many for- rows, it is very grievous to have thofe things that have been often anfwered or affented to, again objected , or attested.
