This honour of Chrifl the Redeemer , to be Judge of the world, together with the glory in which he (hall appeare when he comes to judge the world, carries a twofold effe& in it, according to that twofold difiribution of thofe who are the ob- jects ofthis Judgement, Good and bad, theGodly and the wic- ked. Firfl, It carries terror to the wicked, who know not God, and who have-not obeyed theGofpel. What more terrible to unbeleevers, then to be judged by him, whom they have not beleeved ? What more terrible then to be judged by him whom they have neglected, to be judged by him whole grace and mer- cÿ the} have refufed ?
