Which wordsof the Aponte ?ohn, as they are applyable to the perfonofChrift, whomwe (hall thenfee as he id, as that is oppofed to what he was, while he was here in the forme ofa fervant; fo they are alto applyab!e to the Nature of God, or to God efl'entia!ly taken, whomwe (hall fee in that Glorified {fate, ad he is, though not with the bodily ere, nor with any full comprehenfion of our underftandings ( for how can finite comprehend infinite) yet our underftandings (hall bave fuch a full apprehenfion of God, that comparatively to any fight ofGod which Vie have had here, we may be fayd to fee him as he U. This intellec`fuallfight, being unexpreffibly far, more excellent and evident then eyther that fight which every Saint bath by faith, or which any have bad by the eye, in thofe appearances which he fometimes bath vouchfafed to duff and afhes here.
