Grace is (Origo eriginata) the originativeroote, or that roote which Jefus Chrifl planteth in us , that by the continual! fupplyes and moyftnings of the Spirit, wee may bring forth fruit in him and tohim. As Original! corruption is the natu- ral( roote of the matter in us, as to the produ&ion of fin and cur unhappy fruitfulnes in evil! fo Grace infufed or wrought in us, is the Supernatural! roote of the matter in us, as to our germination in holines, and, our happy fructification in good - neffe.
