And, Seventhly, There are fpeciall hones hanging about our re- lations.The bones offome are full of the finnes of their relations and conftitutions, The bones ofothers are fall of the finnes of theirconditions and callings : The bones ofnot a few are full ofthe finnesof the place, time, orage, wherein they live : The bonesofmany are (as the bones of lob were fuppofed to be) full ofthat fpeciall age oftheir lives, their youth. The hones of their youth-age, are vifible in their old -age, and the finnes of their firft age prove tht forrowsoftheir laft. Thirdly, Obferve, Tilt fannebe repentedof, andpardoned, thepunifhment of it remaines. It is impoffible to remove the punifhment of finne from the guilt ofit, and it is impoffible to remove the guilt ofit by any meanes, but the pardon of it. Bones full of fin, (hall not want paine : aft out finne by repentance, take hold ofpardon- by believing, and then punifhment is caft out, and mutt let goe its hold. Fourthly, As bones are taken extenfively for the whole man. Obferve, That thepunifhtnent offin reacheth as fore asfin reacheth. If lime get into your bones, punifhment will follow : As. there are finnes of the flefh, and Ganes of the fpirit, fo punifh- meats ofthefeth, and punifhments ofthe fpirit : there is no- thing fo firong, fo deepe, or retired, but punifhment will find it out : not only the skin and fefh, but the very bones (hall fmart,yeaand the foule too. Woe to them ( faith the Prophet 20 15. ) that feekdeep to hide their cotnfelifrom the Lord, and their works are in the darke ; for though their counfell be deepe and their works in the darke, yet wrath will fee its way toovertake them, and fill their hearts with woe.
