And as publick fo private and perforal evillsare fume» times fò defperate, that every man {tends off, and faith, I will not, i cannot be a healer, I have neither bread nor cloathing e- nough for it ; this ruine cannot beunder my hand. All thefe confederations tell usaloud, that as 't is fometimes in vaine to complaine to man, fo 'cis alwayes belt complaining to God, eyther immediately, or whenfoever we complaine to man, to haveGod in our eye. For the contrary of thofe feven difcouragemenns, in refe- rence to our complaint to man, may beaffirmed of God. Firft, He is fencible ofour forrowes. Secondly; To heare our complaint is nob:irthen to him. Thirdly, He doth not ufe to fend any away with good words onely. Fourthly , He doch not defpife thofe who complaine to him. Fifthly, He doch not deny himfelfe able to helpe. Sixthly, 'ris rare that he gives any a flat denial!. Seventhly, He never denies beige to any becaufe their con - dition is paft his beige. He needs not to anCurer, in my houle is n bread nor cloathing, no help, nor healing, for with him is all power at all times : therefore let us complaine to him.
