That of Eleftion in the Love of God, and that of Redemption in the blood of Chrif which can- not be overflowne by any the moR violent and impetuous flood. So then, ungodly men are miferable, when they appeare molt happy, and at their belt eflate are altogether vanity ; for either their eftate hash no foundation, or but loch a foundation as can- not Rand, and that is as bad or rather worfe then none at all ; It is better to have no appearance of Rrength , then to have nothing but an appearance of it.
