Chap. z3 . An Expofitionupon the Bcok of JOB. Ve rf 7 with the hardopinions of men,That, godwily at laß deliver them for everfrom every rigorous and unrighteous udge. In that Great day (as the Apoftle 70de calls it) the caufe of every righteous man ¡hall be difputed before God, and then they ¡hall bedelive- red for ever from their Judge. And thisdid exceedingly bear up the fpirit of the Apoftle Paulin the midft ofthevarious cenfures and judgements of men concerning him ; he knew their judge- ment fhould be taken off at last, (r Ccr. 4. 3, 4.) With me it its a very!mad thing that I*told be judgedof you, or of mans judge- ment, yea Ijudge not my owns felfe ; Bat he that judgeth me is the Lord, therefore judge nothing before the time till the Lordcome, who both will bring to light the bidden things of dar&neffi,, and make manifef the counfells of thehearts, and then Jbsllivery man have praife of Çoá ; That is, every righteous man, though difprai_ fed, and difpifed, though judged and condemned by men, though blackt over with falfe reportsand reproaches, yet then every righ- teous man fhall have praife from the moftfrighteous God.He will then doe all his people right who have been wronged, and paffe a juft fentence upon chofewho have fuffered much and long un- der un¡uft censures. andfo /hall they be for ever deliveredfrom their judge.
