Verf. 27. 3 S 3 world God bath feen and fearched and prepared it ; all pafIeth through his band and heart, therefore fear nor,-O ye that are up- right in heart ; For though ye knownot what your outward por- tionmay be, or whether your lot will fall in a fair or foul place, as to the eye of fenfe ; yet you may certainly know,and fee by an eye of faith, that your portion (hall be good, and your line fall inthe faireft and fitteliplace that the wifdomof God could chufe and pick out for you. Fifthly, Pray mach. All is in the difpofe of God ; his will muff be done, and his wifdomwill fee it done ; therefore in all the petitions which you make let your aymbr more at the fulfilling of the will of God, then at thefulfilling of your own. All is already prepared and in his eye, which he will doe for you ; and God will not be rut out of his own purpol'es, nonot by the prayers of his ownpeople ; therefore pray that your delires and the will of God may meet together inprayer. A godly man may pray (as Luther did) O god,let mywill bedone,becaufe his will is refolved into the will of God.
