He is alto with the etr of his people, and teacheth them how to near; he is an with the heart of his people, and teacheth them how to pray ; he is with their hand,and teacheth them, as how to work in peace, fo how to fight in warr, (Pfal. r44. t.) recan doe nothing (faith Chriff, thn 15.4.) withoutme. And while he faith fo, he affures them that he will be with them in the doingof all things, whichhe cal- leth themunto. Secondly, as God is with his people to a(íìí{ them in doing good, fo in oppofing and refilling evil, I mean, both that fin'ull evill, which chemfelves are tempted to doe,whe- ther by Satan, or by the world, or by their own hearts ; as alto in oppofing that evil which is done, or attempted tobe done by o thers.
