Then came darknfe. As light is the fame with good, fo darknes is the fame with mill, and here (asoften elfewhere in Scripture) Darkneffe is put for all forts of evil!. Thewords are plaine, and need no labour of expofition. I alall only note Tome things from them. Firft , In General!. Good noon are often deceavedof , and mile their expetiation in this world, effecially about the things of the world. A godly man bath a twofold expectation ; Firft, about the things of the world to come ; Secondly, about the things of this world ; A godlymans expeeation (hail not be loft in reference to the things of the world to come but he may loote many of his expeaations as to tite things of this world.
