How ling willye love vanity, andfeeke after It w fang ?In all uvhieh Scriptures, vanity in the firft part of the verle teemïs to be expounded by deceitful! fwearing, flattering & lying in the latter. So then, though vanity in this text may include a'l finfull wayes. and the eager profecution ofall worldly things (in anho- nett way ) which are but vanity ; Yet it is chiefely to be under- flood of purfuing worldly things in a falfe way,by over.reacbing and deceiving thofewith whomwehave to do.And that's the fin hich lob here protefts againft before the Lord, as will appeare further in opening the next words; But before I medie with them, take fomeobfervations from what hath been already oe pened ; If 1have walked with vanity.
