This call of man to account, may be confideredd in three periods. First, God cloth it often in this life, he reckons with them by ftroakes,tie layes trouble upon their loynes,and gives them up to ashard hands as ever they have layd upon others. Secondly, God calleth men to an account at the houre of death ; It is appointedfor men once to die , and then cometh the judgement. There is a perfonal particular judgement before the General! Judgement. Thirdly, God will arife to vifit and call all men to an account at the refurrec`kion from the dead, Then every one muff anfwer for himfelfe, and for all that he bath done. No man Thal! efcape that Judgement ofGod, nor canany thing in man elope char Judgement. In that vifitacion day Chrifi will looke thorough us, he will looke thorough our workes, and thorough our hearts.
