He is called alfo fehovah, which is altogether incommunicable to the creatures : noting his e- ternal eflence : So, 'Rev1.4. To himwhich is, which war, andwhich is to come. God himfelf alfo makes himfelf known to his peopleby this name, Exod. 3.14.. Iam that I am. So,Pfal.83.19. that they mayknow that thou wholename is feho- vah, &c. whichname is never inScripture attributed to falfe gods , or to crea- tures.Now that this namefehovah is afcribed to Chri(t,appears,Jer.23.6.He that is our righteoufeneffe is Jehovah, the Son ofGod, and not the Father, who by his righteoufneffedoth Move the Lord to juflifie us.
